Virtual Class Substitute Teacher Plan

 

Reading 60 minutes

Student will read the Google Slides on the lesson “Why do writers write?”  The link to the lesson can be put in the student chat box or put in the Virtual Google Classroom.

Students then make a list on lined paper of possible topics to write about:

Narrative-My favorite place, my favorite person

Persuade-I want a, I can’t live without

Inform-I know how to, I want to know how to

 

Students read the text “Jean Sot Guards the Door” The link to the lesson can be put in the student chat box or put in the Virtual Google Classroom.  Students answer the question on lined paper.

English 45 minutes

Students will complete pages 8-12 in their 4th grade grammar workbook

 

Spelling 15 minutes

Students write their current list of spelling words three times on lined paper.
